About BoardSeal

A controlled workflow for board documents, voting, PDF generation, and traceable verification.

BoardSeal keeps the operational path clear from unit setup to assigned voting, then preserves the resulting PDF snapshots, hashes, and audit evidence in one place.

What the platform does

The project is built around a strict management flow, not generic file storage.

Each area exists to keep document responsibility, signing scope, and generated outputs under control.

Unit-scoped administration

Moderators work inside assigned units, while member affiliation stays tied to the actual unit that owns the signing process.

Executive document management

Documents carry title, numbering, dates, body text, decision lines, assigned users, mandated person, and controlled voting state.

Assigned voting and signatures

Only users from the owning unit participate in signing. Votes stay attributable per user and are tracked through the full lifecycle.

PDF snapshots and verification

Generated PDFs are stored as historical snapshots with hashes, version metadata, and public verification flows tied to audit events.

How it works

The operational path is intentionally linear and auditable.

The platform is designed so that document editing, voting, PDF generation, and verification happen in a predictable order.

1
Create and prepare the unit

Units are activated, users are affiliated, and moderators receive access only where administration is intended.

2
Compose the document

A moderator fills in metadata, body text, decision lines, assigned users, publish date, and the PDF format allowed for that unit.

3
Open voting

Once voting starts, content edits are locked. The workflow becomes operational and only suspension or resumption remains available.

4
Collect assigned responses

Each assigned member records an approval or rejection. Progress remains visible at document and list level.

5
Generate, store, and verify the PDF

The resulting PDF is produced through the selected renderer, stored as a snapshot, hashed, and exposed through verification pages and audit history.

Why this matters

The project preserves not only the final PDF, but the evidence around it.

That distinction is important. The system does not stop at rendering a document. It also stores who could act, who did act, when the state changed, and what exact PDF artifact was produced.

Audit events

Creation, publication, voting changes, PDF generation, verification checks, and downloads are all part of the trace.

Versioned PDF formats

Each unit can receive controlled PDF renderers, while generated outputs remain linked to the format used at that moment.

BoardSeal brings unit management, member voting, and PDF evidence into one controlled surface.

Use it to understand the current project quickly, or as a public-facing overview when presenting the system to stakeholders.
